This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, disclose and protect personal information when you use the Driver Junction – DJ mobile application (“DJ Cabs App”), our website, customer support channels and related mobility services (collectively, the “Platform”).
Driver Junction (“DJ Cabs”) is a mobility platform operated by Aarambh Global Mobility Ventures Private Limited.
This Policy applies to Customers, Drivers, Driver Partners and other persons who use or interact with the Platform.
1. Acceptance of This Privacy Policy
By downloading, accessing, registering with or using the DJ App or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Where consent is required under applicable law, we will seek consent through appropriate mechanisms.
Our processing of personal data is intended to comply with applicable laws and regulations of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, to the extent applicable and in force, and other applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the DJ App or Services.

The information we collect depends on how you use Driver Junction.
We may collect information:

automatically through your use of the DJ App;

from Drivers or Customers in connection with a ride;
from payment and verification service providers; and
from other authorised service providers where permitted by law.

When you use Driver Junction as a Customer, we may collect:

Profile information
Pickup and drop-off locations
Current/approximate location during applicable trips
Booking and ride information

Complaints and feedback

4. Information Collected from Drivers
Because Drivers provide transportation services through Driver Junction, we may collect additional information required for onboarding, verification, safety and compliance.

Email address
Photograph/selfie
Date of birth, where required
Government-issued identity information
Aadhaar-related verification information, where legally permitted and necessary
PAN information, where applicable
Driving & Vehicle Information
Driving Licence details
Registration Certificate (RC)
Vehicle registration number
Vehicle make and model
Vehicle photographs
Vehicle insurance information
Permit information
Fitness certificate
PUC certificate
Other legally or operationally required documents
Financial Information
Bank account details
Payment settlement information
Transaction information

We may use authorised service providers to assist with identity, document, eligibility, fraud-prevention or background verification where permitted by applicable law.
5. Location Information
Location information is an important part of the Driver Junction mobility service.
Customer Location
We may process location information to:
identify the pickup location;
identify nearby Drivers;
facilitate ride allocation;
provide navigation;
estimate arrival times;
calculate trip distance;
track an active trip;
provide safety features;
investigate complaints; and
provide customer support.
Driver Location
We may process Driver location when the Driver is:
online or available to receive ride requests;
accepting or travelling towards a booking;
undertaking an active trip; or
using a feature that requires location information.
Driver location may be used for ride allocation, navigation, trip tracking, safety, fraud prevention, customer support and operational purposes.
If location permission is disabled, some DJ features may not function properly.
6. Driver Verification
Driver Junction uses verification processes to promote safer mobility services.
Depending on applicable requirements and the Driver's role, verification may include:
identity verification;
Driving Licence verification;
RC verification;
vehicle verification;
insurance verification;
permit and fitness verification;
PUC verification;
selfie/liveness verification;
other document verification; and
other applicable eligibility or safety checks.
Information collected for verification will be used for legitimate onboarding, safety, compliance and fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Camera, Photo and Document Access
The DJ App may request camera or photo access when required for legitimate Platform functions, including:
Driver identity verification;
selfie/liveness verification;
uploading identity documents;
uploading vehicle documents;
uploading vehicle photographs;
profile photographs; or
reporting an incident or submitting supporting information to customer support.
Camera or photo access will not be used for unrelated purposes merely because permission has been granted.
8. Payment Information
Driver Junction may process information relating to payments and transactions, including:
transaction ID;
amount;
payment status;
payment method;
refunds;
wallet or credit information, where applicable;
Driver settlements; and
other transaction-related information.
Payment credentials may be processed by authorised third-party payment service providers.
Where a third-party payment provider processes payment information directly, that provider may process such information according to its own privacy policy and applicable law.
Transaction information may be retained for accounting, reconciliation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, taxation, legal and regulatory purposes.
9. Customer and Driver Insurance
Driver Junction may facilitate or provide insurance-related benefits or coverage for eligible Customers and Driver Partners, subject to the applicable insurance policy, eligibility requirements, terms, conditions, exclusions and coverage limits.
For Customers, where insurance is mandatory for a particular ride, the applicable insurance charge and relevant information may be included as part of the booking.
Information required for insurance administration, verification or claims may be shared with the relevant insurance provider or authorised service provider where necessary and legally permitted.
Insurance claims are subject to the applicable insurance policy and claim procedures.
10. Safety and Emergency Features
Driver Junction provides technology-based safety features, which may include:
Live trip tracking;
SOS/Emergency Assistance;
Driver verification;
trip information sharing;
incident reporting;
customer support; and
other safety features available through the DJ App.
We may process relevant account, trip, location and incident information to provide these features, investigate incidents and protect Customers and Drivers.
For immediate emergencies, users should contact the appropriate emergency authorities.

11. Information Shared Between Customers and Drivers
To facilitate a ride, Driver Junction may share limited information between the Customer and Driver.
Depending on the applicable Service, this may include:
Customer Information

pickup location;
drop-off location;
relevant trip information;
profile information where applicable; and
contact or masked communication information where required.
Driver Information
Driver name;
profile photograph where applicable;
vehicle type;
vehicle registration number;
relevant vehicle information;
Driver rating where applicable; and
approximate or real-time trip location where required.
We seek to limit shared information to what is reasonably necessary to provide the Service and support safety.

Certain information may continue to be retained where required or permitted for legal compliance, taxation, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, pending transactions or other lawful purposes.

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including:
requesting information about processing;
requesting correction of inaccurate information;
requesting deletion where legally available;
withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent;

We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
If certain information is necessary to provide a Service, withdrawal of permission or deletion may affect your ability to use some features or Services.
19. Marketing Communications
Where permitted by applicable law, Driver Junction may send promotional communications relating to:

rewards;
new Services;
new features;

other promotional activities.
You may opt out of non-essential promotional communications through the available unsubscribe or communication preference mechanism.
Essential communications, such as OTPs, booking updates, payment notifications and safety alerts, may continue to be sent.

The DJ App is intended for individuals who are legally capable of using the Services under applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances prohibited by applicable law.
If you believe that a child has improperly provided personal information to us, please contact us.
21. Third-Party Services and Links
The DJ Platform may use or integrate with third-party services such as payment providers, mapping services, communication providers, verification providers, insurance providers and other technology partners.
Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of relevant third-party services where applicable.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect:

The updated Policy will be published through the DJ App and/or website.

25. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
